CHART OF THE DAY: Who’s Getting The Most Face Time At The GOP Debates?

It seems like every week we get a new Republican presidential primary debate (and it seems that way because it’s basically true.)

That means we’re seeing a lot of the candidates in primetime, even the ones who don’t really have a shot at winning the nomination. Sometimes it seems like we spend most of the time watching the also-rans talk, while the actual frontrunners are pushed to the side.

Turns out that’s not really the case.

Despite all the time spent letting, say, Rick Santorum take his shots at Michele Bachmann, the man dominating the screen during the debates is none other than frontrunner Mitt Romney.

That’s according to a study by the good people at Smart Politics from the University of Minnesota. Here’s their breakdown of who got the most face time at the past three debates:
