I’m excited to announce two new members of the TPM team: Hunter Walker and Zoe Schlanger. Details after the jump.
Hunter Walker joins TPM from The New York Observer. He’s joining us as a reporter working out of our New York office. We’re always looking for people who get the web and know our iterative, hungry approach to covering the news. And Hunter comes in with great sourcing in the Greater New York area media and political worlds which will give us purchase on a raft of new stories, many of which are hundreds or thousands of miles away. So we’re all really excited to welcome Hunter aboard.
Zoe Schlanger joins TPM right out of college. But we know her well at TPM. Zoe was a star TPM summer intern in 2011. And she’s managed to intern at most of my favorite web news operations during her time in school. She’s also been at the helm of NYU Local, an independent alternative student news site at NYU. Zoe’s our new Front Page Editor, one of the most challenging and important gigs in our operation.
