The Tea Party Nation has banned “liberal trolls” from their Web site but members have no problem crossing state lines to help Republican State Sen. Scott Brown in the final hours of the race for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts.

Tea Party Nation member Marina Peterson sent a message today to the group’s mailing list addressed to “Rhode Islander’s” (sic) and asking them to help Brown defeat Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley.

“The momentum is high!! Let’s give this our all!!” writes Peterson, adding that volunteers this weekend can canvass neighborhoods or use the automated phone call system, which make it “easy to leave voice mails automatically and easy to record voters responses – making it fun.”

Brown “could be the 41st vote needed to frustrate Harry Reid, Barrack Obama (sic) and their attempt to shove socialism down our throats!” she writes.

Peterson also references Rep. Patrick Kennedy’s reelection campaign in Rhode Island, saying that a Brown win Tuesday would, after all, give Kennedy’s Republican challenger John Loughlin free national media.

Excerpts from the email obtained by TPMDC as a member of the mailing list, after the jump. It’s slightly edited to remove emails and phone numbers for the campaign.

A message to all members of Tea Party Nation

This is from TPN member Marina Peterson:

Rhode Islander’s –
The Scott Brown campaign in Massachusetts is going well but needs more volunteers.

Help is needed on the phones calling unaffiliated voters. It’s fun and rewarding- especially when you get a strong positive response (which is often). The phone banks are automated making it easy to leave voice mails automatically and easy to record voters responses- making it fun.

It’s amazing to see how many are planning to vote for Brown!

This weekend volunteers will have the option of canvassing neighborhoods or working the phone banks.

You can make a difference by helping Scott Brown win his special election next Tuesday, January 19th. In victory, Scott’s election will help restore common sense to Congress and help restrain the spending binges and dangerous experimentation with our health care system. Should he lose, the Democrats in the U.S. Senate will continue to run unchecked with their 60 vote filibuster proof majority. With sufficient volunteers and donations Scott Brown will win.

A Scott Brown win would also put the national media spotlights on John Loughlin’s campaign to unseat Patrick Kennedy. It could lead to much free media in John’s campaign.

Here are a number of ways you can help Scott Brown win:

If you have friends in Massachusetts, tell them how important this election is and ask them to get out to vote for Scott Brown on January 19th.

If you can afford a small donation, make one. If you can afford a larger donation, consider that. You can donate at the campaign website at http://www.brownforussenate.com/ .

If you can volunteer there are a number of options:

For most Rhode Islanders, the Scott Brown campaign office in Wrentham is closest. Please contact … to sign up for phone banking, door-to-door work and other tasks at their headquarters at …

Rhode Islanders who live in its southeastern areas- particularly near route 24- may find the Scott Brown office in Middleborough closer. Please contact … to sign up for phone banking, door-to-door work and other tasks at their headquarters at … The need for volunteers is greater at the Middleborough office than the Wrentham location given that the former is just now being put into operation.

If you would like to help with the phone bank work but would rather work from home, you can access the phone banking “engine” from the Scott Brown website as follows: Go to http://www.brownforussenate.com/ ; and from there, there is a rectangular “sign” in the bottom right part of the screen that cycles through three options. One of them is “Call From Home” that gives you the link to sign up. Once your information is accepted by the system, instructions for doing the calling from home will be emailed to you.

… is the contact person for Rhode Islanders seeking additional information about how to help. If you need a ride to a Scott Brown campaign office, he may be able to arrange a car pool.

I am going to Middleborough. If anyone needs a ride let me know.

The momentum is high!! Let’s give this our all!!

Take care.. marina

If you can help the Scott Brown campaign in any way, please do so. He could be the 41st vote needed to frustrate Harry Reid, Barrack Obama and their attempt to shove socialism down our throats!
