Here are some key fundraising numbers from today:

  • Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) may be in a bit of trouble. Between Jan. 1 and March 31, Lincoln raised $1.34 million. That’s less than the $2 million her Democratic primary opponent, Lt. Gov. Bill Halter, said he raised just in the month of March.

Still, the TPM Poll Average for the Lincoln-Halter primary on May 18 shows Lincoln ahead by a margin of 46.0% to 30.3%.

  • Rep. Mark Kirk (R-IL) had a much more successful fundraising quarter than his Democratic opponent in the race for President Obama’s old Senate seat, outraising Democrat Alexi Giannoulias by $1 million. Kirk raised $2.2 million, while Giannoulias raised $1.2 million.

The TPM Poll Average shows Kirk leading Giannoulias 39.2% to 36.6%

  • Former HP CEO Carly Fiorina’s Senate campaign raised $1.7 million in the first quarter of the year. Fiorina, who’s tied in GOP primary polls with former Rep. Tom Campbell, has $2.8 million on hand for the final phase of the race toward California’s June 8 primary.

The TPM Poll Average for the primary shows Campbell with 26.5%, Fiorina with 25.3% and conservative candidate Chuck DeVore with 8.1%

  • Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO), who’s facing a tough reelection battle, raised more than $1.4 million in the first quarter. The Democratic primary is Aug. 10, though the TPM Poll Average for the general election shows Bennet in close races with each of three potential GOP opponents in the general election.
  • Rep. Paul Hodes (D-NH), who’s running in the Democratic Senate primary in September, raised $665,000 in the first quarter and has nearly $1.7 million on hand.
