Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) has announced $1.24 million in fundraising in the second quarter, and boasted in a press release of setting a Colorado record with 20,128 individual donors.
The campaign did not disclose how much cash Bennet now has on hand, but said that it has raised $7.44 million to date. Bennet’s Democratic opponent, Andrew Romanoff, has not yet released his second quarter numbers. The primary is August 10.
The TPM Poll Average for this race shows Bennet leading Romanoff 46.3%-33.7%.
