Former Rep. Tom Campbell enters the final weeks of the California Republican Senate primary with more campaign cash than the well-heeled former HP CEO Carly Fiorina, according to fundraising numbers filed by both candidates today.
Campbell and Fiorina -- the consistent frontrunners in the GOP field -- both have less than $1 million to spend in the ultra-expensive California media market in the final push to the June 8 primary.
Campbell has just over $975,000 on hand, according to his FEC reports. Fiorina has $620,000.
The TPM Poll Average
for the primary shows Fiorina with 33.1% of the vote, Campbell with 25.4% and tea party favorite Chuck DeVore with 15.4%
