Sens. Bob Corker (R-TN) and Richard Shelby (R-AL) aren’t alone. House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) also supports televising the financial reform conference debate between key House and Senate members.
Boehner wrote a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi today suggesting “C-SPAN coverage” and “live webcasting” for the conference, during which details will be ironed out between the House and Senate financial reform bills.
“This subject is too important and affects too much of our economy to be written in its final stages by a select few Democrats and lobbyists behind closed doors,” Boehner wrote.
