ICE Called To Senate To Address Family Separations, Treatment Of Detainees

SAN RAFAEL LAS FLORES, GUATEMALA - JULY, 17: Elvia Mariela Marroquin, 31, who is Ervin's mother, hold her younger son Dylan, 2, inside the kitchen in her house in Las Nueces village, Santa Rosa.Otto Albizurez, 27, and his son Ervin, 10, left their home of Las Nueces village of San Rafael Las Flores, Santa Rosa, Guatemala, on Abril 28, 2018, heading to the USA. After three weeks travelling through Mexico, they were deteined in McAllen, Texas, by the border patrols. They were together for the first three day and than they were separated, detained in two different places. Otto spent 10 more days in a jail and than was deported to Guatemala. His son, Ervin is still in USA, in a shelter of Houston, Texas.
