President Obama said Friday anti-LGBT laws passed in Mississippi and North Carolina “should be overturned” in a joint press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
“I also think that the laws that have been passed there are wrong and should be overturned and they’re in response to politics in part and some strong emotions that are generated by people,” Obama said.
The British government recently released a travel warning to citizens about North Carolina’s controversial “bathroom” law targeting transgender people and Mississippi’s legislation that will allow businesses to deny service to members of the LGBT community.
“The U.S. is an extremely diverse society and attitudes towards LGBT people differ hugely across the country,” the warning reads. “LGBT travelers may be affected by legislation passed recently in the states of North Carolina and Mississippi.”

He was a sadistic SOB who made Andy Dufresne’s (Tim Robbins) life in prison hell; Andy was innocent and the warden knew it. Anyway the police were bearing down on the warden at the end of the film so he ate his gun. Bye bye. I think this such a good film, try to catch it.
