Newt: Govt Guidelines On Cancer Screenings Show Palin Was Right About Death Panels

Newt Gingrich discussed the government’s guidelines on the recommended frequency of prostate cancer screenings — and name-dropped Sarah Palin.

“I think Governor Palin got attacked unfairly for describing what could be called ‘death panels,’” said Gingrich.

However, Palin’s infamous “death panels” accusation against President Obama was a very different allegation about government boards: That a panel of bureaucrats would cut off access to health care for her young son, who has Down Syndrome, and declare him not socially worthy of treatment.
