House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) made a room full of reporters break out in nervous laughter Thursday when he answered a question by making air kisses at a male reporter.
Radio reporter Todd Zwillich pressed Boehner during a news conference to say whether he’d bring a “clean” bill funding the Department of Homeland Security to the House floor. The speaker made kissing noises in response.
“When we make decisions, we’ll let you know,” Boehner added.
Giggles could be heard throughout the room. One confused reporter asked “What does that mean?”
“That was just a kiss, that’s all,” Boehner said.
“Several,” Zwillich noted.
