At a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday, Eric Holder and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) clashed as the Attorney General tore into the Republican oversight chairman’s conduct as “unacceptable” and “shameful.”

Issa aggressively questioned Holder about the Obama administration’s discussions with Labor Secretary nominee Tom Perez, and suggested that there was a violation of the Federal Records Act that the Obama administration was covering up.

A visibly frustrated Holder interrupted to dispute his claim.

“No, no, no, that’s — I am not going to stop talking now,” he said.

Issa called on the committe chairman to ask Holder to stop talking, but Holder refused.

“It is inappropriate and too consistent with the way in which you conduct yourself as a member of Congress,” the attorney general said. “It is unacceptable. And it’s shameful.”
