George Theoharis

George Theoharis Dr. George Theoharis is Professor of Education at Syracuse University. A former public school principal, teacher, and coach, he served as Department Chair, Associate Dean, and Director of Field Relations at Syracuse. He has written hundreds of articles and op-eds, plus 13 books. His forthcoming co-edited book, Educating in Dangerous Times: A Call to Re-envision Public Schools in America (Beacon, 2026) comes out this August.
