Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown raised over $5.4 million in the third quarter of 2012, his campaign announced Tuesday. That’s more than challenger Josh Mandel, who raised $4.5 million over the same three-month period.
According to the press release, outside groups have spent $23 million in Ohio to defeat Brown.
