Pakistani President And Indian PM Meet

In a visit that began as a religious pilgrimage but quickly turned into something more closely resembling a state visit, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari  and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met Sunday in Delhi for informal talks. Both leaders expressed a desire for better relations between their respective countries. Points of conflict such as the disputed region of Kashmir and Indian suspicion of Pakistani complicity with extremist networks remain formidable obstacles to normalized relations.
