New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will head back to Bloomberg LP once he leaves office where he will work with Bloomberg View, the media company’s opinion vertical, Capital New York reports.
Bloomberg will write for the site and will help recruit guest opinion contributors.
Sources could not confirm Bloomberg’s exact role in the website to Capital New York, but said that chairman of Bloomberg View is one of the titles currently being considered.
Bloomberg does not currently receive a paycheck from the media company he founded, but he has a role in decision-making as the company’s majority stakholder.
