Two FBI agents were shot early Wednesday morning in St. Louis County, Mo., local TV station KSDK reported.

FBI spokeswoman Rebecca Wu told the news outlet that the shooting occurred around 2:53 a.m. local time at a home in north St. Louis County, where the two agents were helping local law enforcement execute an arrest warrant. Police officials told KSDK that someone was barricaded inside the home.

One agent was shot in the shoulder while the other was shot in the leg, Wu said. Their injuries were not life threatening.

The FBI sent 100 agents to the St. Louis area ahead of a grand jury decision in the Aug. 9 fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer. However, Wu told KSDK that the incident was not related to the unrest that erupted in Ferguson after the grand jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in Michael Brown’s death.
