Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Tuesday pushed back against criticism from a fellow Republican who said "Americans will die" if they listen to the senator.

Paul was asked by radio host Mike Broomhead on Arizona's KFYI about the comments, which were made Sunday by Rep. Pete King (R-NY).

King had taken to Fox News to accuse Paul of "spreading fear among the American people" by criticizing the National Security Agency. King also said "people like Rand Paul are putting the American lives at risk."

The Republican National Committee accused Hillary Clinton on Monday of "fully coordinating" with a pair of super PACs that are supporting her potential campaign for president in 2016.

The accusation came in response to a report by Politico journalist Maggie Haberman, who detailed the "shadow campaign" paving the way for Clinton.

Steve Lonegan, the outspoken Republican who mounted an unsuccessful Senate campaign in New Jersey against Cory Booker (D) last year, is back.

Lonegan told the Star-Ledger on Friday he intends to run for the seat being vacated by retiring Rep. Jon Runyan (R) in the state's 3rd Congressional District.

"I have the hottest donor list in the country. My name ID there is over 90 percent. I have a terrific campaign team that’s ready to rock, is experienced and seasoned," Lonegan told the newspaper. "I have coordinators in every town in the district, in every church and synagogue."

Newly minted New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio offered to strip for reporters Friday at a press conference about the winter storm that had just nailed the region.

De Blasio made his indecent proposal when asked how many layers he was wearing by CBS Radio's Rich Lamb. According to Politicker, de Blasio responded by "dramatically unzipping his jacket to show off his shirt."

"Do you want me to go farther, Rich?” de Blasio said. "I have an undershirt also."
