Conservative radio host Glenn Beck on Monday defended MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry after she was criticized for a segment poking fun at a Romney family photo including Mitt Romney's adopted African-American grandson, Kieran.

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) on Sunday slammed Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) for initiating a class-action lawsuit against the National Security Agency over its bulk data collection program.

Lawyers representing the gay couples in the Utah same-sex marriage court case on Monday said they remain confident about their ability win in federal appeals court despite the Supreme Court's decision to issue a stay on same-sex marriages in the state.

"We were confident when we filed the case in 2013, we were confident when we presented the arguments to the District Court and we remain equally -- if not more -- confident about our defense of marriage equality before the 10th Circuit," James Magleby, one of the attorneys, said in a statement obtained by the Salt Lake Tribune.

The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association on Saturday organized a meeting in Highland, Utah to call for an uprising and to express their opposition to same-sex marriage in Utah, Fox 13 Now Salt Lake City reported.

Former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Sunday said that she does not believe that former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden deserves clemency.

"That would require more intimate knowledge of what he allegedly has, but from where I sit today, I would not put clemency on the table at all," she said on NBC's "Meet the Press" when asked if the government should offer Snowden a clemency deal.
