Fox News host Bill O'Reilly on Tuesday said he was unhappy with how some media outlets characterized his questions for President Obama during the pre-Super Bowl interview.

"I was watching the cable competition last night, and the unusual suspects are going, 'Oh! A Republican!' The Associated Press, their headline of the interview was: ‘President Obama Defends Himself from Republican Charges,'" O'Reilly said on "Fox and Friends." Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Monday said he initially thought the Coca-Cola Super Bowl commercial bashed by some conservatives was an ad organized by the Republican party.

“I thought maybe the Republican leadership was behind the Coke commercial," he said on his show. "That's what I thought when I saw it. I said, 'Whoa, who got hold of this advertising campaign? The Republican leadership's gotta be doing this.'"

New York Times Public Editor Margaret Sullivan on Monday said that the paper's editors should have noted changes in wording to its story on former Port Authority official David Wildstein's claim that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie knew about the lane closures on the George Washington Bridge as they happened last year.

A Friday article initially said that Wildstein "had evidence to prove" that Christie knew about the closures but later changed the wording to "evidence exists," and did not note the change in the article.

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) on Monday criticized President Obama for his comments about the Benghazi attack and Fox News during his interview with Fox host Bill O'Reilly before the Super Bowl.

"It’s just an outrageous lie, it is kind of hard to call it anything else. It’s kind of like Obamacare. It's kind of like Obamacare and the things he said in the beginning and now he’s denying it,” Inhofe told Oklahoma radio station KFAQ about Obama's claim that his administration did not cover up information on Benghazi.

Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) talked about his preparation for a potential bid for the White House in 2016 during an interview with the Washington Post published Saturday.

"I have a great deal of respect for Hillary Clinton," he said. "But for my own part, I have a responsibility to prepare and to address the things that I feel a responsibility to address. . . . To squander this important period of preparation because of horse-race concerns and handicapping concerns is just not a very productive use of energy. . . . Right now, I’m going to keep doing what I'm doing — the thought work and the preparation work."
