Bob Costas will return as host of NBC's primetime Olympics coverage Monday night, now that he has recovered from a double pink eye infection, the network told The Wrap Sunday.

Costas called in Matt Lauer last Tuesday when his infection had spread to both eyes and was no longer able to anchor NBC's coverage in Sochi. Meredith Vieira filled in as anchor as well, and became the first woman to host NBC's primetime Olympics coverage, according to Mediaite.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who has been outspoken about his opposition to immigration reform, on Saturday indicated that Republican leaders support immigration reform because large donors like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are pushing them to.

"It seems as though there are some deep pockets outside the Congress and across the country that seem to be the only voices that line up with the Republican leadership in the House on immigration," he said on the Tea Party News Network's "The Capitol Hill Show."

Actor Kevin Spacey, who plays Frank Underwood in the Netflix series "House of Cards," on Sunday said that the show is pretty similar to what actually happens in Congress.

"Look, for me it's like performance art, you know, I sometimes watch it actually we can get done shooting on a day, and I'll come home and turn on the news and I'll think, you know, our storylines are not that crazy. They're really not," he said on ABC's "This Week."

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Sunday commended Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConell (R-KT) for voting to end debate on the clean debt limit bill in order to overcome Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-TX) call for a 60 vote threshold on the measure.

"I appreciate our leadership voting the way that they did, even though they face primary oppositions, especially Senator McConnell, but he exercises his rights," he said on CNN's "State of the Union." "There was enough of us that we move forward and put this issue behind us and now focus on Obamacare, on the economy, on many other issues, in which we think are winning issues."
