Obamacare de-funder Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) got some surprising pushback on his effort to repeal the law full-stop on Tuesday from the hosts of "Fox and Friends."

"You can’t fiddle around the edges. I think it is the essence of pragmatism to recognize this thing isn’t working. Let’s start over. Let’s repeal every word of it," Cruz said when asked if he supported a full repeal of the law.

While a majority of Americans still supports the death penalty for those convicted of murder, public opinion on the matter has declined over the past few years, according to a 2013 Pew Research Center poll released Friday.

Fifty five percent of Americans support capital punishment, while 37 percent oppose it, according to the survey. Support has dropped since 2011, however, when 62 percent of the country favored it.

Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) on Monday reiterated his claim that the Obama administration is "cooking the books" on Obamacare enrollment.

"We do," the senator said when Fox News' Greta Van Susteren asked if he stood by his comments. "We still don't know how many people have gone to the website to sign up actually paid so they actually have insurance, not just signed up on the website. That's number one."

Fox News host Jenna Lee on Monday repeatedly asked Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) about the GOP's alternative plan to Obamacare, but the senator did not lay out any specific proposal.

When Lee first asked Graham what his plan for health care reform would look like, he listed a few ideas, such as not denying coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, letting young adults stay on their parents' insurance and allowing consumers buy plans from out-of-state exchanges. The first two proposals are already stipulated in the law, however.

Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius on Monday responded to Sen. John Barrasso's (R-WY) claim that the administration has been "cooking the books" on sign-ups for health insurance under Obamacare.

"I think it's unfortunate that again, people who are not very enthusiastic about having the law work, haven't done any outreach to their constituents, haven't given accurate information are now suggesting that the enormous interest in enrolling for health care is not existing," Sebelius said on HuffPost Live.

Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius on Monday said that even though President Obama was criticized for appearing on comedian Zach Galifianakis' show "Between Two Ferns," the interview helped with health insurance sign-ups.

"Well, we definitely saw the Galifianakis bump," she said on HuffPost Live when asked if Obama's appearance helped send people to the health exchange website.
