Whether or not the FBI could investigate allegations of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh has been a point of constant debate between Democrats and Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee over the last day and a half. Late Thursday, the American Bar Association called for the committee to hold off on a vote until the FBI had a chance to investigate the allegations about Kavanaugh.
