Speaking to reporters on Friday, President Trump harped on his hope that Congress will negotiate and fund his border wall and suggested he didn’t care about getting credit for pushing the issue.

“I don’t care what they name it,” he said, referencing the wall. “They can name it peaches.”

Trump also told reporters he’d rather give Congress time to make the “easy” decision, rather than have his administration declare a national emergency in order to secure the funding.
