President Donald Trump extended an olive branch to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in a rare moment of peace amid a feud that has been boiling since the 1980s.

Nadler had a brief dizzy spell in May where he slumped forward at an event with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, appearing dazed and unresponsive. As a safety measure, his staff took him to a hospital.

There, per Yahoo News, Trump called him and told him that he looked “tough” on TV, high praise in the President’s book.

The two have been at odds since Trump was a real estate mogul and Nadler rising in his political career in New York. Nadler stymied one of Trump’s building projects, a tiff neither of them has forgotten in the years since.
