President Donald Trump trashed Democrats Thursday morning for not supporting the billions he wants to spend on a border wall, saying that new, young Democrats in Congress are “crazy.”

“The buck stops with everybody,” Trump said of the shutdown he started with his demand for billions in border wall funding.
“They could stop this problem in 15 minutes if they wanted to,” Trump told reporters in front of the White House Thursday morning, referring to the Democrats — though the same could be said for him.
“I really believe now that they don’t want to,” Trump said of Democrats. “I really believe that. I really believe that they don’t care about crime. I really believe this. The Democrats don’t care about crime. They have been taken over by a group of young people who frankly, in some cases, I’ve been watching, I actually think they are crazy. But they’ve been taken over by a group that is so far left, I really don’t think they care about crime.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Trump said that he found negotiators for the Chinese government “in many ways, far more honorable than crying Chuck and Nancy.”
‘I think that China is actually much easier to deal with than the opposition party.”
