Toobin On Mueller’s Flynn Report: I Would Be ‘A Little Nervous’ If I Were Trump

CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin on Tuesday reacted to a key sentence of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report released Tuesday evening — that revealed former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn would not get jail time — saying he would be “a little nervous” if he were President Trump.

During Anderson Cooper’s show on Tuesday evening, Toobin pointed out that in the heavily redacted report, Mueller wrote that “senior government leaders should be held to the highest standards.”

As we think about how Mueller is going to characterize what went on in the Trump White House, the fact that he is saying senior government leaders should be held to the highest standards, I would be a little nervous if I were the people involved in the obstruction of justice investigation, starting of course with the President of the United States,” he said.
