White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told reporters early Wednesday morning that voters might not have “much of an appetite” for Democratic House members who open up investigations or impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.

Her comments came shortly after it was clear Democrats had taken House. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who is the favorite on deck to be speaker, has said she intends to kick-off Democrats’ control of the House by requesting Trump’s tax returns.
