The Justice Department is anticipating a Thursday morning release of the public version of the report submitted by special counsel Robert Mueller.

DOJ spokesperson Kerri Kupec confirmed to TPM the timeline of the expected release of the report. It will be made available to the public and Congress at the same time.

The report Mueller submitted was some 400 pages long, not including underlying documents. Attorney General Bill Barr is already under scrutiny for his stated plans to withhold certain materials in the report itself from Congress and the public, including grand jury materials, classified information revealing sources and methods, and information about “peripheral” third part individuals that could damage their reputations.

House Democrats have already made formal requests to see the entirety of the report, and have floated taking the Justice Department to court over full disclosure of its contents and the underlying evidence.
