Jared Lee Loughner appears to have been a user of a web forum where conspiracy theorists discussed UFO sightings, the existence of God and racism in video games. But even there, he didn’t fit in. Other website users appeared to grow frustrated with Loughner and one even plead for him to seek professional help.

A Reddit user found what is believed to be a username used by Loughner on the website AboveTopSecret.com. The website acknowledged that Loughner was likely a user on their website, and the chief executive of the website’s parent company told the Washington Post it was 99 percent likely that the posts came from Loughner.

Loughner, the gunman who allegedly attempted to assassinate Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), killed six others and injured 14 people in a mass shooting in Arizona on Saturday, had reportedly attended a Giffords meeting back in 2007 and was unsatisfied with a response he received from the congressman.

Many of his apparent posts on AboveTopSecret.com, written between February 2009 and July 2010, are written as syllogisms, three part logical appeals written in the form of a major premise, a minor premise and a conclusion. They also lend some credence to the widely held belief that Loughner is mentally ill.

He appears to have started four posts: one that questioned the use of date and time, another claiming space travel was impossible, a post claiming the Mars rover was faked and another on currency.

Loughner’s postings about NASA may have particular relevance because of Giffords’ high profile marriage to astronaut Mark Kelly.

Under the username erad3, Loughner also weighed in — in his non-sensical writing style — on topics like racism in video games, an infinite source of currency, and the existence of God.

“Crap on God! Crap on God! Crap on God!” he appears to have written on one page about the existence of God. “Talk to the toilet seat for a hour.”

“The games by certain brands are racist! These brands are to blame. There are some games that can be changed with the modification of character. This might be true for some, but not for all. If games are staying prejudice then the future of gaming will be racist,” he wrote.

“What is going on with the major college that supports Stephan Hawking in receiving an education with mental retardation?” he writes.

Other users on the AboveTopSecret.com website grew frustrated with Loughner, and one even asked him to receive professional help.

“I think youre frankly schizophrenic, and no that’s not an amateur opinion and not intended as an uninformed or insulting remark, you clearly make no sense and are unable to communicate. I really do care,” writes one user in reply to Loughner. “Seek help before you hurt yourself or others or start taking your medications again, please. Maybe, it’d be better for some there be an infinite source of haldol or cogentin then fiat currency.”

Some of the images that Loughner allegedly posted on the website are posted below.

There’s also additional information emerging that adds to the portrait of Loughner that came together in the days after the shooting.

In 2009, Loughner applied to be a volunteer dog-walker at a local animal shelter, and went through several hours of training and then worked for several weeks in early 2010, the Wall Street Journal reported. But the newspaper said Loughner was asked to leave because he would not obey orders to keep dogs away from a contaminated area.
