MSNBC is reporting that Vice President Joe Biden will make an announcement regarding his decision to run for President within 48 hours.

“He was always going to face an evaluation about whether he was going to take his last shot at the presidency,” CNBC reporter John Harwood said on Monday. “He’s run for it twice, he didn’t do well in either primary campaign. His thinking about this got delayed by the death of his son and then all of the sudden, Hillary Clinton was having difficulty. But he’s made very clear, he’s conflicted about it emotionally.”

If he decides to enter the race, this will be his third attempt.

“Everyone’s a bit weary about the speculation,” Harwood said.
