Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush reiterated Thursday that he believes his brother “kept us safe” as President.

The line drew major applause when he said it on Wednesday night during the GOP presidential debate at the Reagan library in California.

“You know what? As it relates to my brother, there is one thing I know for sure, he kept us safe,” Bush said during the debate.

On Thursday, he took to Twitter to push the line again, this time including a photo of his brother standing atop the rubble of the World Trade Center after the 9/11 terror attacks. Almost 3,000 people were killed as a result of the attacks during his brother’s first term as President.
