House Republicans To Meet At 1 P.M. Today

The House reconvenes at noon Tuesday, and House Republicans will reportedly meet at 1 p.m. to discuss the Senate-passed fiscal cliff deal. A House vote on the deal could come as early as today, but it’s not clear whether Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) has enough GOP votes to pass it or if he’s willing to pass it over the objections of a majority of House Republicans.
