During his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) joked that Donald Trump had canceled his scheduled speech at the confab because he didn’t want to face Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

“Donald Trump is skipping CPAC. I think somebody told him Megan Kelly was going to be here,” Cruz said to cheers from the crowd. “Or even worse, was told there were conservative that were going to be here. Or even worse he was told there were libertarians that were going to be here. Or even worse, they were told there were young people who were going to be here. Not all of you have a degree from Trump University.”

Trump was scheduled to speak at CPAC on Saturday morning, but canceled that appearance on Friday in order to hold a rally in Wichita, Kansas instead.

The real estate mogul has publicly butted heads with Kelly ever since she asked a question about his derogatory remarks toward women at a Republican presidential debate in August.
