Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly’s move to prime time will apparently have implications on right-wing pundit Sean Hannity’s future.
A report Thursday on Drudge Report indicated that Kelly’s new program will air at 9 p.m. ET, the time slot currently held by Hannity. According to Drudge, the “shock announcement” is scheduled for later this month. Fox News neither confirmed nor denied the report.
Hannity addressed the shakeup Thursday on his radio program, indicating that the changes will not affect him negatively.
“Let’s just say in the end I’m very happy. That’s all I can say at this point,” he said, as quoted by Politico.
Kelly’s move to prime time was first reported last month. She currently hosts “America Live” from 1-3 p.m. ET. Kelly recently gave birth to her third child and has been absent from the program for the last several weeks.
