Attention All Naderites
Michigan Obamanauts are seeking two Naderites in Colorado or Virginia. If you will cast your votes for Obama, we'll vote for Nader in Michigan.
No cheating please.
With Michigan sewed up again, we can afford to vote for Nader now, if you'll vote for Obama.
Nader will get the same popular vote total, and Obama may pick up some red state electoral votes.

Billy, I have a serious and honest question for you, so I hope you'll take it in the spirit in which it's intended:
Have you seriously been going back and forth about how you will be voting in November, with serious reservations about both (or all) candidate, or are you solidly voting one way and writing posts that are all over the map to be cantankerous and contrary?
I'm not invested in your answer one way or the other. I'm just wondering.

I don't think of my blog as being cantankerous. My comments maybe.
As I've said a number of times. I'm a Clintonista who has passed the torch to the Obamanauts, hoping they won't drop it in the dirt.
I expect my agenda to be furthered by Clinton from the Senate, not by Obama. However, her task will be much easier if she's not facing a Presidential veto.
What I don't like are the cheap shots the Obamanauts take at McCain and Palin. To me, lies are lies, no matter who tells them. Distortions and half truths are wrong, coming from either campaign.
Finally, my daughter is a devout Obamanaut.
Hope that helps.

I'm tired of the shots at Palin. She's just a tool. But as a tool, she'd be a lot less dangerous if the centrists hadn't accomodated the Cheneyites in every power grab they've made in the past 8 years. Unfortunately, the Clintonistas are almost as willing to play imperial autocratic dynasty as the Bushies.

It does. Just for the record, I don't think cantankerous and contrary are necessarily negative. But I've seen you write that you were supporting Obama only to see you seemingly not voting for him a few days later. Thanks for clarifying.
P.S. I never really thought McCain stood a chance in Michigan.

I thought he had a chance before the financial crisis broke, assuming he could get Romney down here to pitch the fiscal shot in the arm for Michigan manufacturing he pandered with in the primary. Made it sound like the TVA, for chrissakes. I only moved here from Wisconsin last year, but I gather people don't like the Dem governor much and Romney is still liked. All moot now. If you're in a solid blue state, find and Naderite and trade votes.

I'm in Indiana, so Obama needs my vote. Plus, I think Nader is a megalomaniac and a fool.

I'd vote for him in Michigan if it would get Obama a vote in Indiana. If you know a Naderite there, send them my way.
I'm hoping Jacob Freeze lives in a battleground state. I want to trade votes with him.
I canvassed for Clinton in the South Bend suburbs. It was very depressing.
