I just couldn't get my head around the immensity of the reaction. I mean 12,700 comments? That's huge.
Of all the reactions, the one I liked best what the enormous "Booooooo!!!!!" when McCain said he thought Roe v. Wade was a bad decision. Oops. So much for winning over those Hillary voters.
FWIW that's an awful strong reaction. Something that will stick with people. And likely carry over to Nov 5.
McCain has probably blown his campaign. He has fired up democrats like I haven't seen for a while. He will have lost some percentage points with all the women (and men) who watch The View.
If you translate the HuffPo response to the wider viewing audience, which was probably bigger just because McCain was on, that means McCain made a mistake of huge consequence. The power of the media is immense. Imagine that he may have lost the election in that short sequence of lies while talking with Barbara and Joy. Whoa!!
