From the UK computer magazine Webuser:
Emails claiming that US presidential candidate Barack Obama was
involved in a sex scandal should be treated with caution, security
experts have warned.
The emails claim that Obama had been videoed in a compromising
situation and promise to show you the footage if you click on the links

The artful musings about McCain-Palin on this blog are a joy.
However, you are playing the Republican's game. First, they made the election about Obama, rather than Bush (thus finessing their greatest and glaring weakness); then they made it about McCain's war experience (incidentally when John King asked McCain about his infidelities and his lies about those, McCain said it was 30 years ago and should not be at issues now -- hey what about the even older POW stuff? );now they are making it about Palin, instead of about you know what (the economy) or you know who (Bush again!).
The Republicans are correct in that people are made to absorb and like stories and they have one to believe about Palin. Stories, of course, can be written to have a different ending. I am worried that what has happened is that America has bought a theory (like a scientific theory) and theories are much harder to upend, basically requiring flat out contradictory evidence, widely disseminated and believed.
Do the Democrats have enough time to overturn the new canonical view of what is at issue: small town gal versus awful economic times?
