« Obama.Biden Need to Hit Palin Hard | diachronic's Blog | John Conyers: The Shape of Things to Come »

This Is Now a Serious Issue

If , as it appears, the McCain camp is obstructing justice by interfering with an ongoing investigation, this issue needs to be raised:

McCain and Palin may have disqualified themselves from seeking office with this obstruction.

The Obama camp has to be willing to entertain this possibility and take appropriate action.

I do not believe, pending what transpires in the next few days, that this will be a legitimate election.

And the rule of law must be returned to our country.

Obama and camp cannot take this matter lightly.

Because frankly I am FUCKING SICK of PASSIVE DEM WIMPS allowing Republicans to get away with IMPEACHABLE OFFENSES.

And trust me our beloved Dems will not have the spine to stand up to McCain/Palin if these right-wing puppets get into the White House.

I don't trust Obama to do anything..

But he damn well start thinking about it.

Because there is every sign that this will not be a legitimate election..

I'm outraged by this as well. I also feel completely impotent about it, and that just makes me angrier.

That leads me to a question: should we be writing our senators about this? What do we do to express that this really matters?

I thought I had passed my outrage threshold long ago and was retreating into an apathetic daze, but my blood is boiling right now.
If McCain is obstructing justice up there in the Far North, he would have to be impeached if he 'won' anyway- and we know how Nancy feels about impeachment-
And Palin too, she is obviously privy to whatever his operatives are doing up there.
Obstruction of justice is a felony, how many years was Libby supposed to get in the slammer?
It seems like (and this soundfs awfully familiar, here we go again) this is a 'law enforcement' matter. But writing your Senator or Congressperson can't hurt.
If that CP happens to be Kucinich, Paul, or Wexler, I'm sure they will be more than happy to hear from you.
If it's my Senator, Chuckie 'Torture' Schumer, he might be busy with all those messages demanding he impeach his waterboarding protege, Mukasey.

I see we are not the only ones thinking along these lines:

"I want you all to stonewall it, let them plead the Fifth Amendment, cover up, or anything else," Richard Nixon said privately to his closest associates on March 22, 1973. Publicly, on April 17, 1973, when this picture was taken, the President said, "I condemn any attempts to cover up in this case, no matter who is involved." -- The Washington Post

Everybody's favorite Dominionist anti-choice scandal-plagued governor is at it again, this time in an effort to obstruct justice
