Open Letter from a Wasilla Resident
Here's a compelling and informative open letter found at Mudflats written by a resident of Wasilla.

Oh, I thought you were going to be the Wasilla resident and your post was going to be the open letter.

There are those who think it's a fake letter written by the left however NPR has found the real Anne Kilkenny and she gave an interview here:

She's also been interviewed by the NYTimes, the Anchorage Daily News and CNN. Of course, the NYTimes piece was dated Tuesday, the ADN article ran on Thursday and the CNN mention didn't happen until Friday.
The first time that I saw the "open letter" was on Monday, when it was excerpted by Andrew Sullivan and it's been linked to or posted here, countless times.
PS) I've seen comments from another Wasilla resident who described Ms. Kilkenny as being one of those people at every city council meeting and that though what she says is true, she's viewing some of the issues through her own prism.

I note the use of quite a few absolute words in her account that made me think it was a politically motivated piece.
In one case, that Palin had bitten the hands of "every" person who ever assisted her.
Or that people with knowledge of the negatives are "all" too afraid to say anything for fear of retribution.
Whether her "prism" is in a telescope that sees only the left side of the universe is a worthy question for everyone to consider after the basic fact checking as to her representations is true.
And of course, there are likely more who would have things to say about those meetings and their prisms should count also.
