Is Palin wearing "Cosmetic" glasses?
It is easy to tell from looking at spectacles on a persons face to tell whether the glasses are just to make the person look "studious", or if there is really a correction. From looking at Alaska's Miss Congeniality, it seems to me that she is wearing window glass glasses. Makes her appear less like a faded beauty queen, and move "believable". The pictures where she has her tongue ever so provocatively barely showing, and the fake glasses does Hollywood proud on making a dim bulb look bright.

I don't know if the lenses are Rx, but the frames are by designer Kazuo Kawasaki, I believe. Cost? Somewhere around $700.

Let's see... A daily drive-thru visit to Starbucks runs $884 (minus tax) for a grande Caramel Macchiato.
So she bought ridiculously expensive glasses. People buy overpriced crap all the time. So what?
In addition, typical American women women wear padded bras, slenderizing jeans, hair extensions, bleach our teeth, and apply makeup and Botox to appear younger and more appealing. And just like our male counterparts, we'll pad the resume' juuust enough with inflated skills and work experience to appear smarter and more accomplished.
So much ado about nothing.
