Who's next after Scottie?
I think Scott McClellan, being who he is and his long-standing relationship with George Bush, in writing this book is essentially "breaking the ice" on this frozen sea of an Administration. In other words, he is the first domino in what could be a "domino-effect" of others within the Bush administration to come out with their own "tell-all" books.
He of course gets the big pay-day for being the first "insider" whistleblower, but with it also comes all the withering attack of arrows and mud that will come flinging in his direction. But seeing as how he was a press secretary for the highest office in the land in one of the most deceptive and manipulative Administrations in history, I am sure he is training will allow to spin his side effectively -- making him an ideal frontline attacker.
McClellan essentially gives cover for all the other insiders itching to get their stories out to the public and will make it a much less dangerous proposition so with that in mind, who do you think is next?
I think Colin Powell is the obvious candidate, because of the precipitous fall of his stock since the war. But how about something out of left-field like Condi Rice? She looks like she might be someone who gets troubled by demons.
Any other guesses?

I think Dick Cheney is just dying to tell his story.
But in a Col. Nathan Jessup kind of way. (A few good men.) If someone puts him in front of a grand jury and asks whether he manipulated intelligence to start an unnecessary war, he'll explode with "YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT I DID!!"

Honestly, I don't expect anything more damaging than the McClellan book.
A cabinet secretary tell-all wouldn't be as damaging as a former press secretary. When a former press secretary says "we were bullshitting y'all in the worst way," that undermines the whole legacy, the whole agenda, at once. It taints every administration claim -- past and present -- with the potential of fraud.
Bush's legacy is toast. I'm kind of surprised the guy can get out of bed in the morning.

Don't hold your breath waiting for Rice to spill anything, ever. To wit, from McClellan's book:
"Condi Rice," McClellan writes, "is hard to get to know. She plays her cards close to the vest, usually saving her views for private discussions with Bush. Over time, however, I was struck by how deft she is at protecting her reputation. No matter what went wrong, she was somehow able to keep her hands clean, even when the problems related to matters under her direct purview. . . . And in private, she complemented and reinforced Bush's instincts rather than challenging or questioning them. As far as I could tell from internal meetings and discussions, Condi invariably fell in line with Bush's thinking."

Colin Powell never had any stock of value that could fall, "precipitously" or otherwise.
His lack of character was exposed when he was the first to investigate -- and cover up -- the My Lai massacre in 1968. What makes him a "hero"? He weras a uniform -- and that's all of it. Similar to McSame, who is a "hero" because he got captured by the enemy, and therefore failed to accomplish the mission assigned him.
Rice wouldn't confess even under the fine-detailed tortures she chaired in the making. Even Cheney would spill the beans before her -- if he didn't first shoot the interrogator/torturer in the face first.
Meanwhile, of twenty former prosecutors, including Republicans, who filed a brief in the subpoena case concernng Bolten and Miers, one of the Republicans was known described in DOJ documents as a "loyal Bushie". He has signed on the Congress' side of the case.
Some of the lawyers will come clean, if any more do, before anyone else.
