Oh My God....the Media....
I didn't think the media could spin this anymore. I say this allot, but I think Im going to be Ill! I cannot believe this. The hypocrisy of them is too much. I heard Nora Odonnel say that Obama's numbers went up among PA and in Indiana by 34% among those (hard working white Americans), yet after her disapointment in the last two prior primaries to draw another contrast, the coverage was not the same. West Virginia takes place and they (The Pundits) are beaten the hell out of this......How does anyone watch cable news, or regular t.v. news these days. We are up to our neck in bullsh*t at this moment in history. How can people stand it?.....Ohhhhh My God!....

The media will never admit that when it comes to race relations in this country, white people are not the "problem." Everything is spun to land the "problem" in the laps of the people who are not white. Notice that the media are not asking what is wrong with white people in this country at this point in our history --2008 -- that white people are still allowed to harbor such outmoded, outlandish ideas. That the problems encountered by the first black man to have the White House in his reach if not yet in his grasp are his "problems" and not theirs.

RemyD...You heard my plea in the post above....I hope your right.....I just let loose on somone else's thread because I was listening to her speech. I had to turn it off,....ofcoooouuuurrrrssse I did, I knew I would. Im trying to get to place to stop feeling angry with her, but its sooooooooo hard.

Let your faith that she will not win the nomination console you in these difficult times. It's over, no matter how she or the media spin it. He will get the majority of pledged delegates by May 20th, and will very likely get past the magic number shortly after that.

I've been trying to look for the positives in Hillary, trying to like her. I just listened to a second of her speaking and I don't know at this moment what is making me crazy is her enthusiasm about seat Michigan and Florida and the cheering of her audience. She has that way of making it seems like she is standing up for a fair elections, but nothing about what happened in MI and FL is fair.
And how can she get away with saying that winning more white votes is more important than winning more votes? I evidently don't know anything about West Virginia because I had no idea they would be so drastically different than the rest of the country (even the other Hillary states had much narrower point spreads). Sorry, just frustrated and in need of a place to vent, this seemed like an okay place for it.

I as well as stated have been trying to move behond her. You touched on so many key points. Also again, the touting that 64% of the people wanted her to continue on. She knows this is disingenuous because she knows that people dont want to tell her to out right get out, as they know she will play victim with that. I think that right there is where my blood starts to rise, because she just isnt honest. She is such the old style politician when people are looking for leadership, not spin. We here those things and its like we shut down, because we see what she is doing. Yes, and the winning more white votes take, you dont expect a Democratic member to be saying those things. I also have said that is silly as well, because if they have so much love for her, she looses like she will, why wouldnt they listen to her when she told them to vote for Obama? Its nonsense! Or is that the elephant in the room, she will not do that. Or is she threatening not to do that, who knows, its just so much non-sense now.....
On your last take, what's that say about West Virginia? This is a Democratic primary.....wait til the republicans spin that around on the Democrats later on. Just think, if hillary wasnt running like she could win this, we wouldnt have this problem.......Im not telling her to get out though......what a nightmare!

Oh and talk about offensive and dismissive! Abrams has Nancy Giles on, she tried to comment on the whether or not people thought this campaign has been contincous....Mike Barnacle was like this is nothing....then he came back for cover and was like, yeah that's gonna be there in the fall........So people please tell me what that means?....

When the racist crap begins is when I just have to turn it off.
The biggest problem right now is that the media is in the process of rendering themselves competely 100% obsolete. If I had to take a guess I'd say by the time 2012 rolls around the internet will far outpace any MSM sources for news. In the meantime what they know, is the more outrageous they become the more attention they get (kinda like a train wreck) but they've already shocked the senses beyond recognition so now they just keep trying to elevate but there's no where to go except in the toilet. But they are trying to destroy the internet. I have been half wanting to start a thread about the Bob Costas Now show they did on the media. These writers and media people are really pissed off at the internet. That's how it starts...do shows like that, eventually it makes it to Congress to be destroyed. Remember the deregulation, (well not deregulation but you know what I mean)of Auto Insurance under Reagan....a soft drum beat, then a pass to them run rampant, force everyone to have it, and to be able to raise your rates for any number of reasons.
Anyhow, I agree with you. Plus, there is an element of ratings to consider as their motivating factor as well. They know if Hillary stays in, the Dems cant unite without them, they have the megaphone for the unthinking masses.
