MSNBC's Chuck Todd: Obama's Gas-Tax Pushback Gets Traction in Indiana

I've been told that Indiana's electorate is much more educated than some assume and so I've been hoping that Obama's stand against the gas-tax holiday might trump Hillary-McCain's pandering.

Today, Chuck Todd suggests that Obama might be getting some traction from this:

"Obama's gas tax pushback seems to be getting real traction in Indiana..."

It's amazing what a little truth can do a candidate. I guess the under $40,000 that are HRC's best hope, (really the uneducated) aren't as dumb as she was counting on.

YES!!!!

Interesting. What's the story with the WTO and OPEC? I missed that one.

The amount of money the Clinton campaign has spent on ads pushing this issue reminds me of the old classic:
"If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit."

Todd's turning into as much of an idiot as Matthews. He wrote that "Obama's last shot at keeping Superdelegates from abandoning him will be to win in Oregon." Excuse me? First of all, I'd like him to name one superdelegate that was committed to Obama but "abandoned" him to go to Clinton. There aren't any! And it doesn't appear that any are prepared to abandon him, as he keeps collecting new ones. As for uncommitted superdels, they are just that: uncommitted. Therefore, they can't "abandon" a candidate as they're not attached to one.

Todd has started repeating Clinton's talking points. I think what he really meant to say is that these last few contests are Clinton's last shot at convincing superdelegates to come over to her side -- against all reason and against all odds.
