Was it the first 2 minutes that she spent begging for donations or the last 3 that she spent thanking irrelevant political figures that you found "electrifying"?

Awesome speech! "America is worth fighting for!" Thank you so much for posting the link. That woman inspires me. I went immediately to her website and made another donation. No matter what happens I want to show her my support and thanks. Honestly, I don't know how she does it.

Mark Penn wants to know when the other $9,999,975.00 will arrive in his off-shore bank account.

Maybe it was all of the parts that she lifted from Obama's speeches that people are finding so inspirational. I'm not sure why hearing those points from her is more appealing than hearing them from Obama, but perhaps it will ease the transition for her supporters in the general election.
One of the things that she does well is condense her speech into simple applause lines. I, personally, don't feel inspired or excited by a series of bumper-sticker-length catch phrases, but her supporters seem to respond well to it. In that regard, her delivery surpasses Obama's.
And OttoF, I'm sure Mark Penn appreciates your $50. Too bad a donation of 2.3K is only a drop in the bucket that is his bill to the Clinton campaign.
I wonder what Bill Clinton's going rate is on the campaign trail. He's given as many as 9 speeches in a single day. He has been known to charge as much as for a single speaking event. Simple math suggests that if he is charging his regular rate, that the Clintons are making, I think the term is, a shit-ton of money.
So, by all means, keep donating. They only have well over 110 M. They need people to, according to Hillary's "amazing" speech, sell their bicycles and other personal belongings to make donations to her.

I don't know about electrifying, but definitely irrelevant.

Seriously, that was a lame speech, especially on content. Doesn't she know Democrats actually listen to the speeches? She should have had something really new to say, some really convincing statistic, besides the one she offered.
"64 percent of dems wants us to go on"
Yawn.
They just feel sorry for you and also don't wanna piss off your crazy fans. So that they don't go running to McCain. Which of course would be high treason.
Anyway, the upside may be that even her most die hard fans have more and more time to get used to fact that she lost.

Great speech. Great candidate. And a heartening display of enthusiasm for Democrats in a (formerly) Democratic state.
Thanks for the link!

After the electricity wore off (about 60 seconds in) I was left with a giggling fit that lasted over an hour. :)
