some suggestions for TPM hype of Obama

I am happy for all the smiling, attractive pictures of Obama, and the frowing, petulant looking ones of that major pain in the ass Clinton, plus all the hot stories derisive of Hillary, its refreshing.

I thought perhaps we could get some front page links on Senator Obama's favorite charity, that way we can spend some more cash supporting the campaign for the change that we have all been looking for, now finding it it us, ourselves, we are the change we have been looking for.

I would like to know what toothpaste he uses, gosh some action figures.....obama organizing  community dashing to thwart some lowlife bad guy...i know the Obamas need some money, they just paid off their student loans, golly, i m saying THEY are elitists...well...doh what can you say other than GoObama...i am going to sing that chanting song, yeah you could link to that, we need a quasi religious sensation

all in the spirit of further aggrandizing the all obama all anti-clinton news all the time

screw those conservatives anyway,

I hear they have an opening at TaylorMarsh.com

Even at TaylorMarsh you need minimal writing skills.

You sound … bitter.

Man you forgot about all the great Obama merchandise you can buy.

I'm actually wearing a t-shirt right now and I feel my rage and bitterness turning into hope with a sense of purpose.

Selective viewing at work. TPM uses cheerful or otherwise handsome pictures of Clinton when she has good news, ditto Obama. TPM uses frowning pictures of Obama when there is bad news. Ditto Clinton.

Wake up.

Good point. People don't recognize confirmation bias in themselves, but it exists.

Give it up, these people hate Hillary more than they love Obama. They would rather McCain win than Hillary win. It's not about how much they love Obama, it's about how much they hate her.

What makes me laugh is all their screaming and whining about how she and her surrogates (anyone who says something bad about Obama is a Clinton surrogate on a marionette string) going too far in attacking Obama - that it may hurt him in the general while oblivious to the much more egregious anti-Clinton filth they promote here.

Sure, there's the odd rational one here who supports Obama while not hating Clinton - but they are pretty few and far between. IT doesn't help they have official sanction in their hatefest from Rosenberg who has thrown all this credibility down the hate-Hillary rathole.

I mean you only have to read the headlines to see how clearly this is all about her - about hating her.

Your comment dovetails nicely with Hillary's Campaign: You only have to pay attention to her speeches to see how clearly this is all about her.

They would rather McCain win than Hillary win.

Actually, most of us have expressed that have posted here (if not all of us), have expressed exactly the opposite opinion.

It's not about how much they love Obama, it's about how much they hate her.

Actually, it's about how much we hate it when people are hating on Obama. Honestly, did you find this piece to be pro-Hillary or anti-Obama in tone? Maybe, I'm "out of touch", but I think it's anti-Obama.

I mean you only have to read the headlines to see how clearly this is all about her - about hating her.

Maybe the problem is that you were taking blackflag/Cherry Grainger literally? It was satire, and was all about hating him.

I don't hate Obama. I will vote for him in November I have said it a 1000 times, I believe - seems like it anyway. However, this site is exponentially less pro-Obama than it is anti-Clinton.

As I said, look at the headlines of these posts - or if you can stand the paranoic conspiracy-mongering, actually read them.

Actually, I don't think Cherry is so much hating Obama as poking some holes in the pretentious Obama mystique.

I think that if you look back at past things that Cherry has written, you'll find that this very much is about hating him. Now, I'm not saying it has anything to do with Obama, per se. No, I rather suspect the hatred is borne out of a frustration that Clinton will not win the nomination. It's easy to empathize, because many Obama supporters secretly fear that she'll figure out some way to manipulate the system and actually get that nomination anyway.
