Will TPM stop flashing meaningless poll headlines?


All that movement "he's ahead, she's ahead" - almost certainly random (i.e., measurement error).

They are tied in the national polls.

Until you see a series of polls outside the margin of error, then there is nothing to report.

The dog that didn't bark can be a clue, Watson.

It's news when a poll shows that nothing has changed. I do agree that the reporting of such polls should highlight that lack of change rather than the absolute poll numbers.
