Hillary Clinton Thinks We're Stupid
The two candidates for United States Senate sought the endorsement of the fractious Independence Party here today, but Hillary Rodham Clinton used her speech to attack the group for what she said was the ''anti-Semitism, extremism, prejudice and intolerance of a few shrill voices on both the right and the left.''
Mrs. Clinton added that she welcomed the endorsement of the party, but said emphatically that she would not accept it if the party supported Patrick J. Buchanan for president. ''I cannot and will not as the price for any endorsement embrace or excuse those who use hateful rhetoric that separates and divides,'' she said. ''So let me be just very clear: I will not run on a line with Pat Buchanan on the top of the ticket.''
(my emphasis)
It doesn't sound like denouncing and rejecting to me. And my question is this. Does she really think no one will check on these ridiculous statements she makes?

darn it! I don't know how to work the link button!

I find that the easiest way to use it is to first type in your anchor text, highlight and then click the link button. Paste your link into the dialog and presto: you have created a link.
I'd be just as happy with being able to just write my own HTML tags though.

She either thinks that they won't look or that it doesn't matter.
She's wrong on both counts.

I posted a satirical comment on HRC and the Internet (and how she really doesn't understand the Internet's implications) and this post shows that things do hang around forever within the grasp of anyone with a computer.
Unfortunately, nuance and subtlety was lost on some people (presumably HRC supporters) who, hilariously mistook the piece for a swipe at Chelsea.
Anyway, this is that blog since it really does comment on the amazing research you can do on the Internet(s):

...and she would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you kids and your meddling laptops!

She does not understand the difference between the real world and the fantasy land she lives in where she actualy did denounce them, and a majority of democratic primary voters want her to be president.

After reading the article, it seems that the crux of her argument was that she would not accept the endorsement IF Pat. Buchanan was on the ticket. Well Farakhan is NOT on Obama's ticket. So how are her comments from 2000 different from Obama's yesterday? That's very disingenuous of her--and she knows it!

Yup agninri! And what confuses me is that she actually went to the Independent party event looking for an endorsement. But her prepared remarks indicate that she knew who they were and what they were about before she ever walked in the door. What do you suppose would happen to a candidate who went looking for the nation of Islam's endorsement, even with 'preconditions'?
Hillary loves to talk about a double standard. And no one is better than applying one than she is. Last night she was ranting about Louis Farrakhan while Pat Buchanan was a pundit for MSNBC.
