A new Gallup poll found President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ranked as the man and woman Americans most admire.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D) would be virtually tied if the 2016 presidential contest were held today, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/ORC International poll released Thursday showed Christie up 48 percent to Clinton's 46 percent among registered voters, within the survey's margin of error.

CBS News correspondent John Miller confirmed Thursday that he is leaving the network to return to the New York City Police Department.

Miller previously worked in law enforcement in both the NYPD and the Los Angeles Police Department under Bill Bratton, who spent time at the helm of both agencies. New York City Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio tapped Bratton to return as chief of the NYPD in his incoming administration.

Secretary of State John Kerry and rapper Snoop Dogg apparently bonded over a mutual love of jazz earlier this month at the Kennedy Center Honors.

Snoop Dogg posted a video to his Instagram account late Thursday of his encounter with Kerry at what appears to be a White House reception for the awards ceremony that will air Sunday, according to CNN.
