Conservative pundit Laura Ingraham on Tuesday criticized Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor for claiming the term "illegal alien" is insulting, and that people should instead used the term "undocumented immigrant."

An Inman, S.C. man claims that his friend accidentally shot him in the head and then failed to call 911, Fox Carolina reported Tuesday.

John Philip Thompson's handgun discharged while he was showing it to Michael Burdette, who told Fox Carolina that Thompson just gave him a towel for his head wound and eventually called his wife to take him to the hospital. Two other people at the scene also failed to call an ambulance, according to Fox.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) on Tuesday said that he will not march in the city's annual St. Patrick's Day parade because organizers of the event will not allow participants to carry gay pride signs.

"No, I am not planning on marching in the parade," de Blasio said at a press conference. "I will be participating in a number of other events to honor the Irish heritage of this city, but I simply disagree with the organizers of that parade."

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly on Tuesday said he was unhappy with how some media outlets characterized his questions for President Obama during the pre-Super Bowl interview.

"I was watching the cable competition last night, and the unusual suspects are going, 'Oh! A Republican!' The Associated Press, their headline of the interview was: ‘President Obama Defends Himself from Republican Charges,'" O'Reilly said on "Fox and Friends." "These aren't questions that all Americans should be interested in? No. Just Republicans should be."
